The Hidden Legacy Tour & Giveaway

About the Book

Book: The Hidden Legacy (A Ford Family Rach: Book Two)

Author: June Foster

Genre: Romantic Suspense

Release Date: October 7, 2025

Austin Ford has inherited the weight of his family’s legacy, overseeing the sprawling Ford Ranch as his father steps back and his siblings forge their own paths. But when his beloved horse, Jack, falls gravely ill, Austin calls upon the new veterinarian in town, igniting a chain of events that will change everything.

Dr. Willow Lawson, a skilled veterinarian, is stunned when she first lays eyes on Austin Ford. The young, handsome rancher is the spitting image of her deceased husband, a shock that causes her to faint right in the horse barn. Determined to overcome the haunting memories, Willow throws herself into her work, even as her heart begins to stir for the charismatic rancher.

As Austin grapples with the strange, unexplained holes appearing on the North Pasture, he is drawn into a deeper mystery. Night flights over the ranch reveal flashing lights in the darkness, suggesting the holes are no mere animal burrows.

Amidst this growing unease, Austin and Willow’s budding relationship is tested when her clinic is vandalized, leaving her devastated and out of work. The attacks seem to be more than random acts of violence, especially when Austin’s father recounts tales of buried gold hidden on the ranch by their ancestor, Great Grandfather Jeremiah, during the Great Depression.

With prowlers encroaching on his land and his desire to protect Willow intensifying, Austin must navigate the treacherous waters of old family secrets and new-found love. Together, can Austin and Willow unravel the mystery threatening their lives and find solace in each other’s arms? Or will the shadows of the past and present prove too formidable to overcome?

More from June

If you love fields of Texas bluebonnets, rolling hills dotted with woolly sheep, and good-looking cowboys, you won’t want to miss The Hidden Heritage.

Veterinarian Willow Lawson never expected to faint the first time she laid eyes on Austin Ford—the ruggedly handsome owner of the Ford Ranch. But their unexpected meeting is only the beginning.

When strange holes appear in the Back Pasture, Willow and Austin join forces to uncover who—or what—is behind the digging. As danger closes in and their lives are threatened, a bond forms between them, stronger than either expected.

But just as love begins to bloom, a shocking revelation from the past threatens to tear them apart. What secret lies buried at the Ford Ranch—and can love survive its unearthing?

MY REVIEW

I do love a good story that highlights ranch life. It is a hard job that demands attention twenty four hours a day.  The cattle always  need to looked after, sheep that wander off and the horses need to be in tip top shape. A sick horse brings Willow to the Ford Ranch where an unexpected  meeting causes her to faint. Has she seen someone from her past?

Willow is a new veterinarian who some ranchers are slow to trust. She is very gentle with animals and has a big heart for them. She is still grieving over her loss when she runs into Austin. She couldn’t help her reaction but how does she explain her fainting? I was intrigued right away when Austin has a striking resemblance to her husband who passed away. It is not exactly the best impression she was hoping  to make when she sees him. Her focus needs to be on his sick horse and try to maintain professionalism.

Austin has started to take on more responsibility at the ranch since his father has decided to slow down. With his horse sick he has his hands full when mysterious things start happening around the ranch. What are the holes he spotted  from his helicopter that is on the ranch? When a secret is revealed to Austin about his great grandfather his suspicions become more alarming. Can this old legend be true that his father shares with him?

I was definitely caught off guard when Willow’s office is destroyed. Al the X-ray machines, medication and other necessities for a veterinarian gone with one vicious attack on her livelihood. The message someone left behind tells her that she is not wanted in this small town. The author does an excellent job of giving readers suspense as we follow Austin and Willow on their adventure to solving a mystery while developing a relationship between each other.

I love how faith is evident in our characters lives. As danger seems to continue Willow and Austin turn to God for help. They know He is watching over them and will protect them from evil. I liked the strange letters showing  up which keeps the suspense going strong. Austin begins to wonder if there is something more to him looking like Willow’s deceased husband. His mom is full of wisdom when he talks about his concerns to his mom. She tells him, “If there are answers we don’t have now, God can provide them if He believes it necessary.”

Join the author as she brings us a story of hidden treasures, secrets, intrigue and a sweet relationship that is surrounded by God. I loved the ending and how in the midst of trials we see how God heals hearts, restores families and brings a new beginning to the Ford Ranch.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.

Glass Across the Sea Tour & Giveaway

About the Book

Book: Glass Across the Sea

Author: Sara Ella

Genre: YA Cinderella Retelling (Fantasy)

Release Date: October 21, 2025

Light always finds a way to break free . . .

Noelle Perrault has felt drawn to the tales her glassmaker father told of the four Firefly artisans since she was a child. But when her mother falls under a curse, Noelle suspects the stories are more than mere fables. Their last hope is for her father to embark on a desperate journey to another realm, where he must seek a miracle. Alone but not defenseless, Noelle is forced to navigate battles that rise against her beloved home, while her dearest friend, the prince, vows to help her father.

Dante Marin is a prince prepared to bear the crown. But the king offers an ultimatum: find the fabled Firefly Vestiges, believed to hold the Lamplighter’s ancient power, or forfeit the crown. Only then will Dante be considered worthy of his birthright and given the freedom to choose his bride. But how does one hunt down a legend?

Connected by the past, but forced apart in the present, Noelle and Dante must discover the truth about the Firefly and Vestiges before they lose all hope—and each other—for good. But breaking a curse comes at a great sacrifice—one neither of them predicted. With a mysterious foe rising to power, will they survive, let alone succeed? Or will darkness shroud their future, shattering the light they’ve striven to restore?

MY REVIEW

This is a captivating story that the author has created with beautiful scenery, a take on a classic character and sprinkled with faith, forgiveness and strong characters. I was immediately drawn to the story from the opening page and couldn’t wait to explore what awaited me .

I love the reference of  virtues that are recognized such as patience , kindness and faithfulness. Pride and greed were also evident as those that once worked beside each other now are on opposite sides. There is something for everyone in this world that allows readers to be taken away in a fantasy of sorts.

Noelle and Dante are at the forefront of this story and I liked how their relationship starts as friendship and well you must read the book for yourself to find out what happens. Dante is a wonderful character who compliments Noelle well. With his passion for the sea he tells his father, “ I don’t want you to give me a ship, I want to earn my place.” Oh how I loved  his humbleness and willing to work hard to achieve his goals. No handouts were wanted by him because he wanted to earn respect from his father. Dante has experienced loss but I feel it  has given him courage to overcome obstacles he faces.

Noelle captured my heart right away with her sweet disposition and almost childlike attitude. Her father tells her , “ you are stronger than you know” which gives her much needed encouragement.  She is excited to see Dante and soon forgets about her troubles. I like how comfortable she feels talking to Dante and allows herself to find at least for a day freedom from worry.

One of the best quotes from the story is , “Even shattered glass, lost across the sea, finds its way back to shore. But not before it is changed -made more beautiful and more refined than the day it was broken.” I thought of how our life before sin was pieces of broken glass. Once we found Jesus, He made us beautiful and stronger .

The story has adventure and keeps readers on their toes. It unfolds slowly as we follow Noelle and Dante through trials and lessons. I really enjoyed how the author made this book not only entertaining but valuable lessons that we can use in our own lives.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.

About the Author

Once upon a time, Sara Ella brought dreams to life as a Disney cast member, wishing for the day she’d find her prince and live in a castle of her own. Now she spends her days homeschooling her three Jedi in training, braving the Arizona summers, and reminding her superhero husband that it’s almost Christmas (even if it’s only January). Sara is the award-winning author of The Wonderland Trials, Coral, and the Unblemished trilogy. She is old enough for fairy tales and believes happily ever after is never far away.

More from Sara

Whenever I start writing a new story, I always comb the internet for the perfect images to represent my characters. Sometimes it’s an actress or actor who fits the character description. Other times, I’ll find some artwork or a painting that fits the picture I have in my mind.

But when it came to finding the right image to represent Noelle Perrault, the protagonist of Glass Across the Sea, I could not for the life of me find what I was looking for. Partly because the heroine is heavily based on my oldest daughter, who shares the same name. No image online was good enough to represent a character and novel dedicated to her.

And then I found this painting titled “Cinderella’s New Day” by artist Heather Edwards back in 2023.

And that was it! “So This is Love” from Disney’s animated classic began playing in my head, and I knew I’d found the image I would keep in my mind for the duration of writing my Cinderella retelling.

This depiction is soft and sweet and felt personal in a way a photo of an actress didn’t. I also felt this painting captured the character and personality of my heroine in a way that would keep me going, even on my most difficult writing days.

Fast forward to 2024. I was behind on my book deadline and life’s interruptions kept getting in the way of my writing. I felt depleted and almost asked my publisher to cancel my contract. But then I attended an event where this same artist had her work on display, and there it was. The real-life, in-person canvas of this very same painting.

That moment felt like God was reminding me He had called me to write this book in the first place. That He had a plan for it and wanted me to keep going. This very painting is the reason I added this line to Glass Across the Sea:

“Art, in her view, was never a laughing matter. A piece might evoke hope in one while it produced sorrow in the heart of another. It was the same for music. For dance.”

And then came 2025. A year of grief and loss in many ways for our family. Once again, everything was getting in the way of this story ever making it to print. And, once again, I considered maybe it was not meant to be published after all. Through many tears and long nights, I revised, pushing to meet deadlines. I questioned if it was worth it. I questioned my own strength and writing abilities, only to be reminded that it is only through God’s grace and Christ’s strength I can do anything at all.

I came across this painting in person again this year at that same event. And, just as it had done in the past, this painting reminded me there was a “new day” just around the corner. My best friend, Nadine Brandes (she knows me so well), surprised me with a signed and personalized canvas print that day. The timing could not have been more perfect.

This painting is more than just a reminder to “have courage and be kind.” It’s a testament to God’s goodness and faithfulness, even amidst darkness and pain. My prayer for Glass Across the Sea is that it blesses readers in the same way this painting has blessed me. Wherever you find yourself today, I hope you keep going and trust the Lord to give you what you need in the moment you need it. In my experience, He often reveals Himself in the unexpected corners and small moments I least suspect.

More from Chautona

Ten years ago, Cathe Swanson and I started chatting about maybe doing a “Christmas collection” with a couple of other authors. Never did we imagine that this Christmas Lights Collection would still be going strong!  Over the years we’ve had many authors as part of our collection—Sarah Monzon, Kari  Trumbo, Vikki Kestell (year one!), Toni Shiloh, Teresa Tysinger, and… well, you get the gist!  Lots of authors. Jaycee Weaver has been a part of the collection for… five now?  Where has the time gone and all those cliches?

For the tenth annual collection, we decided to mix things up a bit.  In this year’s collection, one character is going to visit all the locations in the other books for a semi-interconnected experience.  The idea I for each book to stand alone as usual, but if you read them in the order they appear in the collection, your experience will be a bit like our “judge,” Kindra Hatheway.

Kindra is the “judge” (shocker, right?) for a Christmas lights & decorating contest that four towns/businesses are entering. She’s young, out of her depth, and has a lot of pressure on her for something she thinks of as a “fluff job.”  Follow her from Rockland to Hawaii (or… well, that’d be spoilers), to Montana, over to  New Mexico… and more!

This year’s authors bring their unique perspectives to the story. You’ll get more of Jaycee Weaver’s Sinclair family, but this time we get to see the parents’ romance unfold both in past and present. Insta-love sometimes lasts a lifetime!  Cathe Swanson always brings quirky characters, humor, and all in a delightful community. Meet Pearl and Tom as Laina Turner brings faith and love into the lights of Cottontail Junction. And yep. Chautona (that’s me!) is taking you back to see the sparkle the residents of New Cheltenham has added to their town just for the contest.

In each book, you’ll find characters full of faith, hope, and of course, love.  Thank you from all of the Lovelight Gleams authors. We wish you a very merry and peace-filled Christmas.

MY REVIEW

A fun collection of stories that shares Christmas traditions, unexpected relationships and the meaning  of this special day. I like how each author centers their story around decorating and giving  readers that holiday spirit. The characters are easy to relate to and fill the pages with faith. Within each story there are conflicts, hope and challenges.

I like how we are treated to each author’s creativity as the characters each find themselves working together in the true spirit of Christmas. The sparkling lights, ornaments, and assortment of   people hoping to find the joy will delight readers. It is easy to get into the holiday spirit as each story shares a bit of romance, hope and above all bringing people together.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.

About the Author

I am a 41 retired U.S. Army veteran. Drawing from a life of service, resilience, and storytelling, I write with raw honesty and vivid imagination

More from Stephen

I have always been inspired by Pilgrim’s Progress’s story of the gospel and the imaginative way Bunyan wrote it. Now, by no means do I expect this book to ever be as successful as Pilgrim’s Progress, but I if one person is changed or saved through it, then to me that is a great success.

MY REVIEW

The story opens with a beautiful picture of rolling hills, a  majestic sky and two young siblings playing with no care in the world. Anakus and his sister laugh as they enjoy being children with no care in the world. Their bond is very special and I could tell that Anakus was a fierce protector. His father gives him confidence when he tells him, “ you will be more than me.” Yes those words will carry Anakus as he faces an unexpected detour in his life.

When an attack on his village destroys everything, Anakus grieves for his family. Who are these people who have taken him away from everything he loved? He never said goodbye but left with heartbreak to live with everyday . The cruel reality hits when Anakus  is sold to a man. What  future does he have now?

Everyday Anakus (also now known as Felix) gets stronger and learns the language of his captors. Day after day Anakus had one thing on his mind. He wanted to belong not be ignored . No one allows him to speak only exist and be treated as a slave. Anakus has no idea that soon his life will take a detour. Men try to beat him down with words and punishment but Anakus cannot be changed like they want.

Learning to be a soldier is hard but Anakus never complains. He is thrust into a world where fighting is expected as he reaches Rome. I can’t fathom the many lives he had to watch be taken when villages were ransacked. No one was spared in their deliberate action. The many ventures he is on sees danger and unthinkable senseless deaths. At times the scenes are a bit graphic as the fights continue until stillness sets.

Join the author on this unforgettable journey to find a loved one who Anakus hopes to find , reestablish his identity and seek  freedom. Oh how I loved when Anakus finds out about  a man  who heals the sick. Excitement mounts as the news is spread that , “the teacher,” is coming .  His hears this man who speaks  with grace and  hope to all. A boy appears with five loaves and two fish. A miracle was happening before Anakus’s eyes. Yes he witnessed a miracle that day  as there was enough for the thousands that came hungry.

That one moment when Anakus faces Jesus is powerful. He remembers all the harm he has caused others and questions if he could ever be forgiven. “Do you believe Anakus? The next words will never be forgotten. Hope, grace, forgiveness and redemption meet Anakus in his broken moment.

I loved traveling through the Bible and meeting the young boy who fed thousands, and run into Zacchaeus and Peter. The Bible comes alive in this emotional story. Anakus experiences the true meaning of forgiveness, unconditional love and being set free from sin.

“Belief does not remove the memory of pain or erase the scars you carry, but it redeems them.”
